An involved community is an invested community. Communities use art as a way to improve neighborhoods aesthetically while also improving safety, development and overall neighborhood morale. The intersection mural shown above was painted to improve safety at that respective intersection where children frequent. Intersection murals are proven to decrease crashes involving pedestrians by 50%, and decrease injuries from crashes by 37%.
